The downsides of a Bad Credit

Every time we hear of people having bad credits we often feel sorry for them, but when you are actually in the position of an individual that has a bad credit – now that just makes you feel miserable. Worries start crawling in your mind, and you do not seem to see an easy way out (maybe if you win the lottery next week, however that is highly unlikely). The unfortunate part is that once you have been labeled as having a lousy credit you can wave goodbye to numerous options you had available up to that point. Just about everything in your life will be a bit more expensive (the term a bit is used generally, it depends on the situation) not to mention the fact that whenever you will want to apply for a loan to build a new home, or simply to buy a car you will be immediately refused. All this can turn your normal life into a rather miserable one because once you do not have access to possible credits and loans, you are stuck somewhere, you have to work harder for the same money, and you still will not get the same satisfactions.

With this financial crisis turning everything up side down the chance of a loan or a credit is always a long shot, but if you have a bad credit you can surely wave goodbye to that option. Even if you would want to open a bank account numerous unions and banks will turn you down and that can cause some annoying problems – you cannot pay your bills through your ATM, you cannot buy stuff off the internet because banks would not allow you to have a simple debit card. Online banking is history to you.

The annoyance does not even stop here – let us assume that you can get along without online banking or without paying your bills fast. However, paying just about anything through money orders will take not only a lot of time, but it will cost you more money as well. The commissions are rather great with any agency, and you will find that for sending a mere sum of $500 you would have to pay an additional $25 to $50 just because you are using a money order.

A while ago, people used to pay their bills in cash. However, can you remember how it was? Even in a small city, going by car it still would have taken you a day or more to pay all the bills you had – first, you had to go and stay in line and pay the electricity bill – 1 hour at least, next, your telephone bill – 30 minutes or more, and so on. Not to mention that traveling throughout the city was not making your gas bill any smaller. With a bad credit you might have to go back to the Stone Age, and pay your bills old-fashion which means losing one or two days every month just to take care of everything.

Of course, this does not mean it is the end of the world, and you cannot do anything to save it. All you have to do, is start being a responsible individual, pay your bills on time, take care of your credits on time, and in about twelve months you might even get erased from the black list. You will find that more opportunities are now open to you and if you continue being on the right path, everything will go back to normal in some time.

Good luck!
